Wendy Dottin

Founder & Executive Director, Partnerships & Strategy

Wendy Dottin is a retail and business development leader with over three decades of experience shaping brands, driving growth, and creating elevated customer experiences. Her career spans iconic fashion and beauty retailers, including Dynamite, Le Château, The Body Shop, Jones New York, and Smart Set, where she built a reputation for combining commercial strategy with refined visual storytelling.

She further strengthened her expertise as Business Development Manager with Michel Germain Parfums, where she played a key role in supporting a U.S. rollout across 610 retail locations, working closely with major partners to scale brand presence and performance.

Wendy is a graduate of Seneca Polytechnic, where she earned credentials in Human Resources Management and Global Hospitality Business Development (with Honours), and also holds a diploma in Social Sciences from Vanier College.

She is the Founder of the Caribbean Beauty Summit, a global-facing platform dedicated to connecting Caribbean beauty brands with international retail, distribution, and investment opportunities.

Shabana Asharafi

Director of Operations & Strategic Partnerships, Funding & Grants.

Shabana Ashrafi is an accomplished operations and strategy leader with over 25 years of experience across the IT sector, financial services, and the mortgage industry, including both residential and commercial markets. She brings deep expertise in financial systems, regulatory environments, and structured program delivery—key assets in navigating funding and grant ecosystems.

Throughout her career, Shabana has held critical roles including Command Centre Specialist, Relationship Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to align operational execution with strategic objectives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and measurable outcomes across complex initiatives.

In her role as Director of Operations & Strategic Partnerships (Funding & Grants), Shabana leads the identification, acquisition, and management of funding opportunities, including government grants and institutional financing. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, overseeing proposal development, and ensuring alignment with funding criteria, reporting standards, and accountability frameworks. Her experience in financial structuring and stakeholder engagement positions her as a key contributor in securing sustainable funding and driving long-term program success.

Shabana holds a degree in Computer Science and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. Her certification underscores her commitment to disciplined project governance, risk management, and results-driven execution.

Cassandra Asgari

As Finance & Budget Director for the Caribbean Beauty Summit, Toni leads all financial operations, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and overall financial performance. She ensures transparency, accountability, and financial clarity across the organization, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the summit’s long-term success.

Asrin Nazarimoghaddam

Director of Tourism & Hospitality Partnerships

Asrin leads the Caribbean Beauty Summit experience from a destination and hospitality perspective, thoughtfully shaping the attendee journey from initial travel planning through to on-island engagement. Her work ensures that every touchpoint—from arrival to curated experiences—reflects the elevated standard of CBS as a premier destination event.

Through strategic partnerships with hotels, airlines, and tourism boards, Asrin plays a central role in positioning CBS within the global events landscape while enhancing the overall guest experience. She is responsible for building and managing these key relationships, while developing tailored travel and accommodation packages that make attendance seamless and accessible for both regional and international guests.

With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Asrin brings a strong foundation in operational coordination, supported by a background in hospital operations and business management, as well as formal studies in Global Hospitality Operations Management in Canada. Her expertise extends into coordinating on-island experiences, curated tours, and VIP hospitality events, ensuring each element is executed with precision and cultural relevance.

Known for her structured communication style and strong organizational approach, Asrin oversees guest logistics and travel coordination with a high level of detail, maintaining clear, professional engagement with all hospitality partners and stakeholders. Her ability to align operational execution with experience-driven design makes her an integral part of delivering a seamless and memorable CBS experience.

Esther Lewis

Director of Programming & Speakers

Esther C. Lewis is a seasoned communications professional with a strong foundation in client service, claims assessment, and people management. With a career spanning major Canadian organizations—including Scotiabank, Sun Life Financial, CIBC and Telus Mobility—she brings a unique blend of analytical insight, communication expertise, and leadership capability to every role.

Esther’s work is defined by her ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences. Her background in corporate communications includes developing internal news content, crafting employee-facing materials, managing translation workflows, and supporting large-scale organizational initiatives. She has led communication strategies for town halls, intranet platforms, and frontline support tools, ensuring employees are informed, aligned, and equipped to deliver exceptional service.

A natural leader, Esther has managed and developed bilingual teams, coached staff through performance improvement, and overseen call centre operations with up to 40 employees. Her people-first approach fosters trust, engagement, and high performance, while her analytical mindset ensures accuracy, fairness, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.

The Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in supporting sponsor engagement and relationship management for the Caribbean Beauty Summit.

Dee is an experienced operations and relationship management professional with over 30 years of leadership across the fashion and retail sectors. She supports the Caribbean Beauty Summit in Sponsorship & Relations, with a focus on delivering structured, high-quality engagement for corporate partners, including airlines, logistics providers, and financial institutions.

Throughout her career, she has managed large-scale budgets, led teams of over 100+ employees, and supported the successful execution of retail expansions and operational rollouts. Her background in customer service leadership and human resources has equipped her with a strong foundation in stakeholder management, team coordination, and service delivery at scale.

She brings a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to partnership support—overseeing sponsor communications, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment between brand objectives and execution. Her ability to manage timelines, track opportunities, and maintain clear communication channels supports a seamless experience for partners operating within complex, multi-layered environments.

Her experience also includes grassroots marketing initiatives and community engagement, giving her a well-rounded perspective on both corporate and consumer-facing dynamics.
